History of Department of English

The English Department is the Language Department which combined Myanmar and English when the Cooperative College (Sagaing) was established in 1996. In 2012, Cooperative College (Sagaing) was promoted as a Cooperative University (Sagaing) and then the Department of English was also formed separately. The Business English subject as a supporting subject has been teaching for the students specialized in Regional Development, Accounting and Finance, Applied Statistics, Marketing Management and Social Enterprise Management.

Vision

Providing students to be able to use and apply Business English in their respective fields.

Mission

To provide students with new and practical approaches to the teaching of Business English.
To enhance students’ Business knowledge.
To provide students in developing four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking for managing business affairs in their practical working environment.
